Hey all!
Just checking in...it was great seeing some of you at Prom!!!
Just wanted to say, I've heard the news about Smit. CONGRATULATIONS MR SMIT!
It's sad, but if it's what's best for them, then good for him!
I hope you all make a point to make the next director feel welcome...and keep in mind that he/she probably won't do everything JUST like Mr. Smit did. I mean, let's face it- he's been awesome! You all will pull though marvelously I'm sure.

hey there everyone- just like everyone else im just has shocked as the rest of u all about smit leaving. which sucks i know but there is nothing we can or you guys can do about it if there is one thing that u guys actual listen to me on is that please dont give smit shit about it. it is whats best for his family. And please i beg you all not give the new director hell like we did to smit my freshman.This is a true test of your maturity and talent and i have all the Faith in you guys that u can do good from this even though it wont be the same. For next year whose choir council carefully b/c they r your voice to the director about alot of stuff trust me i kind of know heheehe. i love you all u can get through this i know u can.

MIXER/EOP REHEARSAL...
Success! I thought the mixer went very well during EOP today. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming. The rehearsal went well. Yay for us!
I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did.
REMINDERS...
Tomorrow (Saturday) we are attending the Fall Choral Festival. This means a few things...
Choir Council - Please make sure you're on time tomorrow morning! We're planning on arriving at 6:15 a.m. We're going to be checking out the dresses and tuxes. After we take care of everything we've been assigned by Mr. Smit to do, we'll have time to change into our own dresses (as far as I understand...maybe we can change out earlier...don't know)
Choraliers and Mixed Concert Choir - Please be on time. We need you to arrive at 6:30a.m. This way we will have time to get EVERYONE their dresses and tuxes. We'll be loading buses at 7:00 a.m.
We should be getting back to MRHS by 12:30 p.m. I am looking forward to the festival...I know we'll all be awesome!

And just when you thought I was finished...I added another post about this choir and the neat piece "Past Life Memories". I'm adding a link to a site where you can hear different clips of overtones and even one of the song we heard today in class. "Be sure to check it out. It's really neat. On the site, they have a link to the choir's webpage if you want to see what that choir is about. Anyway, I think I'm done.
